"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' -Matthew 25:40
King's Way Alliance Church is committed to loving and caring for all peoples in word and deed. We strive to intentionally seek the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit to meet the needs of others. Our passion is that we see every person God puts in our view through the eyes of Christ, causing us to be bold in how we love and serve.
We, as the Christian & Missionary Alliance, receive the Great Commission as our marching orders from Jesus Christ. We believe that the Church is the instrument God has chosen to reach the lost. We have a vision to change our world by radically chasing Christ's mission, which takes every believer intentionally and aggressively advancing the Gospel by using the resources God has given them. Whether we give our time, talents, abilities, money, prayers, or anything else we have, we believe nothing is too little for God to use to advance His Kingdom,
We also have the special privilege of partnering up with our International Workers, many of whom are called to take the Gospel to hostile locations.
Missions Emphasis 2018 | September 14-16
Please join us on Friday, September 14 through Sunday, September 16 as we welcome International Workers' Andrew and Esther from Burkina Faso at King's Way Alliance Church. We also welcome Akron Alliance who will also join us on Friday and Saturday.
We kick off our celebration Friday night at 6:00 pm for dinner, followed by a service at 7:00 pm to hear how God has been working and moving in the lives of those in Burkina Faso. We ask that you bring a side dish to share, as dinner tickets will not be sold this year. We will provide chicken for the main dish.
On Saturday, we will have our Mens and Ladies Brunch at Thano's Family Restaurant (71 5th St., S.E., Barberton) at 10 am with Andrew and Esther.
We will conclude on Sunday for our 10:45 am worship service.
Welcome Baskets for The Woods Apartments
We have the awesome privilege to partner with The Woods Apartments by providing them with welcome baskets for their new tenants. The baskets are filled with an assortment of necessary items you tend to need and sometimes can't find. Our goal is to meet a tangible need and welcome them to the neighborhood. We include our business card and a letter from the pastor inviting them to our worship service. DeLee Rogers serves as the point person for this ministry and would encourage any suggestions on basket items and/or donations for them.
